The role of olfaction in healthy eating among children
The project aims to explore children’s liking of fruit and vegetables, picky eating and ability to identify smells, as well as the relationship between these factors. The study is quantitative and data will be collected through surveys and sensory analysis.
The project aims to contribute to increased knowledge of picky eating among children, focusing on fruit and vegetables. Connection to the sense of smell is studied to explore the possibilities of using gamified smell training, as a strategy to facilitate healthier eating among children.
